Street Fighting Man Mick Jagger - Vocals Keith Richard - Guitar Mick Taylor - Guitar Bill Wyman - Bass Charlie Watts - Drums This recording was one of the very first bootleg recordings to appear on vinyl, making its debut in late 69. It was available at head shops mostly, I bought my copy in one of these shops in Berkely an adjoining town of Oakland The boots definately had a mystique to them, kinda outlaw or something I mean they came in plain white covers with a mimeographed black and white copy of a review written about the show copied from Rolling Stone magazine and attached to the covers the ink was barely dry on these and they were distributed to the shops by undocumented couriers. As I remember they cost three dollars. Anyway This thing has been bootlegged to death since then The provided info says the recording was made with a Sennheiser shotgun mike and a Uher 4000 analog reel to reel tape deck. Some time after that the recording was brought foward in time through the use of digital technology. Attached are the covers for three of these re-issues I do not know from which of these sources this copy was taken but the resulting quality is Exellent ! P.S. I still have my vinyl copy and can honestly tell you that this recording definately is an improvement over the original vinyl and besides that the vinyl was cheap that was used and a copy was only good for maybe 30 plays, after about 10 or 15 plays most of the highs were shot and from there it was all downhill. Also more tracks have been added and the setlist returned to it's original order. At least thats how I remember it, I just hope my long term memory is functioning a little better than my short term has been lately otherwise this whole thing could be a flashback ! ( if there is such a thing ) Hope you enjoy it as much as I have through the years ! Daatmon July 01'
